What Twinfig captures
The Chrome extension reads a page only when you start a capture. The capture is built inside your browser and goes to your clipboard, the extension’s local history (your last 20 captures, stored on your device) and, if you choose, a .twinfig file you download.
What leaves your device
Browser captures are not uploaded anywhere. When mock data is on, mock avatars are requested from DiceBear, and the only thing sent is the generated mock name. Website imports started from the Figma plugin are rendered by Twinfig’s capture service, which loads the public URL you enter.
Mock data
With mock data on, names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, card and account numbers and avatars are replaced in your browser before the capture is copied. The real values are never written to the clipboard, history or files.
